Peppermint Bark Popcorn

It is the holiday season, and there is so much to love about this time of year. The smells, the songs, and the movies! One thing that I always look forward to it King Leo's peppermint bark. It has the sweet of the white chocolate and peppermint combined perfectly with dark chocolate. This week's snack is inspired by that same combo.

What You'll Need

2/3 cup of unpeopled popcorn kernals

16 oz of almond bark

1/4 cup of crushed peppermint candie

1/4 dark chocolate

Step 1

Make your popcorn and put it in a large bowl and set aside. Then in a microwavable bowl, heat your almond bark for 1 min, then stir. Keep microwaving in 30 second intervals until smooth.

Step 2

Crush your peppermint candies into a fine powder or as fine as you would like them.

Step 3

Combine the crushed peppermint candies and your melted almond bark. Pour that mixture over the popped popcorn.

Step 4

Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave the same way you did the almond bark. Drizzle that over your popcorn. Let the whole mixture sit until dry about an hour or so.
